The Preparations for 2033

The preparations for 2033 and the beginning of the Third Millennium of Christ’s planetary-cosmic resurrection, are based on the potent forces that began to germinate in the great turning point of the end of the 20^th.

These forces are:

1 The Light that Illuminates the Etheric Form of Christ as Lord of Karma Begins in the Last Decade of the 20^thCentury.

2 The Dream of Socrates will Come True: Doing the Good Directly.

3 The Auora Genesis of Christ’s Planetary-Cosmic Great Easter in 2033.

This became our most crucial and urgent question at the end of last century: Will humans be able to find on earth in their hearts this mighty moral flame, that they co-created in the etheric world before the middle of the century? Will they create in their etheric hearts the spiritual light to illuminate the etheric Christ in the etheric world, and receive from Him the moral forces and inspirations, to do the good in their daily life, in a civilization that is rapidly losing its human substance?

For this purpose, we conducted in recent years in the Global School of Spiritual science exercises and experiments, dedicated to transform the human meeting. Our experience demonstrated clearly that the new moral forces, streaming from the present revelation of the etheric Christ as lord of karma, can be experienced and utilized, if people truly open their hearts to receive and actualize them. In this way, a reciprocal, mutual, etheric breathing of life, love, and knowledge, comes about between Christ and human beings, that never existed before: the Christ pours his abundant new moral forces, compassion and love, conscience and brotherhood, and if people open their hearts to receive them, and implement them in their daily life and deeds, if they endeavor to heal and balance their karma with each other, they create the etheric light that in turn illuminates Him, and make Him etherically visible. The whole community can perceive the lord of karma in action, in-and between our hearts, if we unite our etheric hearts truthfully and lovingly with each other.

From the beginning of our investigations of this mystery at the end of last century, we could perceive that humans must cooperate with the Christ in this process, as they did in the etheric world, but now in full earthly consciousness. We could perceive how He strives to intervene in human life, to heal and order human karma, and at the same time, we perceived that we must become active collaborators in His new impulse. Humans cannot remain passive anymore, they must become morally productive, because the Christ relies on human participation.

It was a matter of direct experience at the end of the century, that humans must radiate new spiritual light, to Illuminate the Etheric Christ as lord of karma, to receive His forces. We could only perceive His etheric appearance, words and deeds, in His new role, to the extent that we could develop in ourselves the new forces of karmic healing, ‘the fire of compassion and love for mankind’, that ignited the ‘mighty moral flame shaped itself in the etheric world’ in the Spiritual Event of the 20th century.

Exactly then, in the last decade of the 20^th century, in the grave of civilization, we experienced how the embodiment of the forces created in the etheric world in the 30’ and 40’, kindles in human hearts new spiritual light, and only through this light one could conduct the spiritual scientific investigations of the etheric Christ. We found out that humans must fulfil an active role in the new mission of Christ as lord of karma. The collaboration between humans and the spiritual world, that took place in the etheric world before birth, must happen now in the physical world, opening the Michaelic path for the 21^st century.

And where can we find this moral flame and creative spiritual fire, the source of this radiating light today, in our physical life on earth? I described this new moral power in the 7^th chapter of The New Experience of the Supersensible, (published in 1995), entitled, Christ’s Appearance Between ‘I’ and ‘Thou’ (greatly expanded in the 4^th volume of The Modern Christ Experience and The Knowledge Drama of the Second Coming). The positive, uplifting, hope giving discovery was that this light is produced through the new moral impulses that man develops in his interactions with his fellows humans, in human meetings and community building. A mighty moral impulse began to flow, that humans could perceive and actualize on earth, that was first kindled in the etheric world in the 30’ and 40’. When we investigated this fact, we could also perceive that the new human meetings are co-creating with the Christ the new earthly-human Sun, preparing His resurrection in the Third Millennium.

The most uplifting change is that the new forces of compassion and love, conscience and fellow feeling, can become- if man so chooses naturally- much stronger than ever before in human evolution, and this change of heart changes also man’s consciousness. When we use the light that was kindled in the last decade of the 20^th century, and amplified and deepened since then, to investigate the new role of Christ as lord of karma, we discover the following.

As we saw, Rudolf Steiner predicted that at the end of the 20^th century the Christ will assume for the first time in human evolution the rule of the lord of karma. This means that from this time onward, instead of the Mosaic law of the Old Testament, ‘An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth’, the new forces of grace and love will begin to regulate human destinies. Two millenniums have first to pass since the Mystery of Golgotha, and His great sacrifice at the beginning of the Second coming in 1933-1945, before the Christ could assume His new role.

A reciprocal etheric love and light breathing begins to flow between the etheric Christ and humanity. His new love and life forces awaken love and compassion in human hearts, and when humans receive and actualized them in the human meetings, facing themselves courageously with honest self-knowledge, devotedly seeking the divine spiritual being of the other, and healing their karma, these forces bring about totally new social and community life; and human cognition is transformed as well. We begin to sense the future approach of the time- and it must be experienced here and now- when the moral and cognitive forces of the human soul will flow from the same spiritual-moral source, the source that at the same time produces the spiritual light, that illuminates the etheric appearance, words and deeds of the etheric Christ, and give us the moral strength and dedication to heal our karma. This process was described in detail in the 4th volume of The Modern Christ Experience and the Knowledge Drama of the Second Coming, entitled: The Creation of the Earthly-Human Sun, the New Human Meeting and Michaelic Community.
