The Philosophy of Freedom is the Mother and Midwife of the True Human Self, Anthropos-Sophia: In this century, we must learn to create and form our true self, it is not given, it must be actualized in free spiritual activity.
I wrote my book, The Three Meetings: Christ, Michael and Anthroposophia, as prelude to the new edition of The New Experience of the Supersensible, published in 4 volumes as The Modern Christ Experience and the Knowledge Drama of the Second Coming. I tried to show how in the 21st century, the mutual, reciprocal, relations between the free human I and the etheric Christ, can be developed. To accomplish this, we have to transform our self-conscious I and form the true I, that will be worthy to say, 'Not I but the I AM is active in me'. In other words, we must create the self that can interact with the free gift of Christ's self, that He offers to all humans in the present age. But to receive His I, we must first bring forth, towards Him, our free spiritual and moral creation as our free gift, and offer it as an act of devotion, reverence and gratitude, to receive His I as free gift...in the this mutual, reciprocal, I exchange, we create the most important foundation of the Age of Michael and the rebirth of Anthroposophia.
Historically, Rudolf Steiner actualized an epochal human and cosmic deed, on the one hand completing what he started in his incarnation as Aristotle, 2500 years ago, and on the other hand grounding the new and future orientated spiritual science, opening the path that will lead humanity in the light of the present Michaelic Christ impulse, for all ages to come.
Pure thinking, the creator of the true ‘I’, called in The Philosophy of Freedom: ‘love in its spiritual form’, is kindled in the etheric head, actualized in the freed etheric heart, flowing into all deeds of moral love through the whole body and limbs to spiritualize humanity and Earth. Therefore, through this activity of spiritualized love, the I of the Christ can be fully individualized in the free human ‘I’, and the three stages of the modern Christ experience can be recapitulated independently by this ‘I’ in the knowledge drama of the Second Coming.
