The future is not yet totally written. At the end of the last century Ahriman’s hosts jubilated, staunchly believing in their absolute triumph. Nevertheless, despite all external and inner obstacles, we could dig a hole in Ahriman’s global dome and lift the heavy stone from the grave of civilization, and gradually enlarge it in the last 25 years. The time for decisive, spiritually informed and morally courageous action is now. 2025 is the turning point.
The College of the Global School of Spiritual Science (CGSSS) has an extraordinary opportunity to step into this moment as a counterbalance to the Ahrimanic world domination. Our agenda — focusing on etheric perception and production of new life, soul and spirit forces, expanded consciousness, spiritual praxis, and the application of spiritual science to key life domains — is precisely the kind of work Rudolf Steiner foresaw as essential for the 21st century, the second and middle, absolutely crucial century, of the present age of Michael.
The College’s task is to research, develop and apply etheric skills, based on detailed practical etheric techniques and technologies. It aims to offer humanity consciously produced and actualized Christ-Michael forces, to counter and reverse the Ahrimanic takeover of humanity. This must be understood thoroughly by all people who strive honestly to join the creative work of modern spiritual science.
When we advance to the real etheric world, not in mere thinking about the etheric, but in actual praxis, we confront the sub-physical, sub-natural, and fallen, etheric world. The two etheric worlds are intimately connected, the one right above the physical and the other right below it. In the sub-physical etheric world, Ahriman established his earthly school since the beginning of the consciousness soul epoch in the 15thcentury, to counter the supersensible school of Michael in the sun sphere, and prevent its incarnation on earth in the 20th century. In this school he teaches how to reverse and appropriated the cosmic sun intelligence, previously ruled by Michael. In this way he took over modern civilization in the 20th century and strives to take over also the 21st century. These intentions must be confronted and countered consciously.
This reversed cosmic intelligence, that controls our entire cavillation, must be reversed, and the fallen Michaelic intelligence must be returned to Michael, who can only live and work in human consciously active etheric hearts. The relevant spiritual knowledge about this mystery, up to 1925, was given by Rudolf Steiner. It was updated and actualized in our work since the end of last century. On this foundation, we develop practical, trained etheric human heads, hearts and hands, endowed with etheric skills, to match, counter, and transform the Ahrimanic sub-earthly etheric forces, that dominate our civilization.
This means that if we are guided by living spiritual science, we do not reject technology — we must enter into it consciously, etherically, and reshape its destiny. We call this ‘reversing the reversal' (RR) and 'reverse engineering Ahrimanic intelligence’ (REAI).
Specifically, CGSSS acts in the following ways:
- Reawaken etheric consciousness: Before any outer cultural, social and technological innovation can be safely developed, human beings must reclaim their perception of the etheric world. The Michaelic movement lost it after the death of Rudolf Steiner in 1925 in the abyss of the 20th century, and it must be resurrected now. Through wholly new spiritual and social trainings, required in the present time, CGSSS teaches practitioners to directly sense and work with etheric life forces.
- Develop moral-spiritual capacities: Rudolf Steiner emphasized that no amount of spiritual and technical mastery matters without inner moral development. Creative love is the only force that can bring about the long awaited brother-and sisterhood. In etheric consciousness and praxis, this force of love constitutes real life force, without which nothing can be accomplished in social life. These new moral skills are building the tested moral integrity needed to hold advanced capacities responsibly.
- Reinterpret technology through spiritual science: Instead of rejecting or fearing advanced Ahrimanic inspired technologies and media (whether human-made or reverse-engineered), CGSSS can build conscious etheric frameworks that spiritualizes these tools — returning the Ahrimanized cosmic intelligence of Michael to his rightful hands, in the etherically active and creative human hearts, filled with Christ-aligned influences.
- Prepare for societal transformation: As human labor declines and social meaning erodes, CGSSS trains a new generation of creative spiritual forerunners, healers, educators, and technologists to guide the emerging etheric culture and social order, offering people renewed pathways of creative purpose, community, and awakening.
- Create global collaborations: Rudolf Steiner foresaw that spiritual renewal would not be a solitary or national effort. Since the beginning of this century, the etheric body of the earth has been united with the cosmic etheric forces, through the new Christ impulse. CGSSS, through creating global etheric networks, catalyzes partnerships across cultures, helping weave a global etheric countercurrent to the forces of Ahrimanic mechanization and domination.
The Ultimate Challenge
Rudolf Steiner’s prophetic warnings are not simply historical artifacts; they are actual and alive now. The forces he described — mechanization, dehumanization, Ahrimanic capture — are not abstractions but active powers shaping today’s world. Yet so too is the Christ impulse: the living stream of moral freedom, love, and spiritual creativity that can redeem and redirect even the most corrupted technologies.
Therefore, the task before CGSSS — and all aligned spiritual initiatives — is not only a planetary, universal-human task, but also a cosmic task. Humanity must be able to ensure- and this must be accomplished until the middle of the century- that while Ahriman’s domination over all the forces of the earth expands to manipulate and control the solar system and the cosmic forces of the stars, free human beings create the dawn of a new, conscious, co-creative etheric era of the present age of Michael.
Conclusion
We stand at a crucial threshold: the opportunity to reclaim etheric forces for human freedom or to allow their full capture by Ahrimanic powers. Through its unique mission, curriculum, and emerging global presence, the College of the Global School of Spiritual Science holds a critical piece of this transformation.
Our immediate goal, therefore, is in full accord with the most sacred goals of humanity in the present and future.
