The second Mystery of Golgotha, taking place in the etheric world and in the human soul, is the starting point and foundation of the knowledge drama of the Second Coming; the rose-cross meditation from Occult Science leads man to undergo, in full imaginative consciousness, the death and resurrection of the Etheric Christ, brought about in ‘the black sphere of materialism’, created by our ahrimanic thinking; The experience of Christ’s death and resurrection in the human soul brings about the formation of supersensible self-consciousness and the individuation of Christ’s ‘I’.

The spiritualization of thinking
The spiritualization of thinking must confront and overcome all the obstacles and difficulties, inherent in modern, ahrimanic intellectual thinking; Thinking is resurrected from the grave of the brain, and returns to its cosmic life, taking with it the self-conscious ‘I’.
