Chapter 1
The Creation of the New Earth and Heaven of the Earthly-human Sun: Heavenly Jerusalem
The old earth has Sunk into the abyss during the apocalyptic twilight of humanity in 1933-45; In the etheric world, it has arisen anew as the new Earth and Heaven of the new earthly-human Sun; The resurrected earth must be formed consciously on earth in the 21st century in the school of Michael; Imagination of the Old Sun reflected and embodied in the creation of the earthly-human Sun; New Earth created from spiritualized will, new Heaven through spiritualized thinking and perception, and their union takes place in the heart of the earthly-human Sun; Heavenly Jerusalem is formed through human meetings.

The first and second parts of the knowledge drama of the Second Coming were described in the second and third volumes. In the fourth volume, some aspects of the creative part of the knowledge drama will be described. As we pointed out in the introduction to the first volume, in the old esoteric language, the knowledge and creative parts were described by Rudolf Steiner as follows: ‘The three symbolic degrees: apprentice, associate, master express the three stages on which man finds himself in spirit, i.e. his self within the archetype of man’. This part is described in the knowledge drama of the Second Coming. ‘And the high degrees should gradually indicate the elevation, through which man becomes a builder at the temple of humanity’. The creation of the temple of humanity is the creation of the earthly-human Sun described in the present volume. The relation between the knowledge and the creative parts of the knowledge drama is then placed in the context of evolution as a whole. ‘Just as the human organism that has developed, i.e. the astral, etheric, and physical organism is a microcosm of the world of the past’, namely, reflecting the old macrocosm, ‘the temple to be built by masonry in wisdom, beauty, and strength should be the macrocosmic image of an inner microcosmic soul wisdom, soul beauty and soul strength’.[1] That is, the future macrocosm will be created from the creative forces of the microcosm, the human soul. In this way, as Rudolf Steiner pointed out, the earth - in so far as it is transformed by the human creative actualization of the Christ impulse- becomes the seed of the future macrocosm, ’the earthly realm, which stands as a new, life-kindling element within the dead and dying macrocosm’.[2] To this earth we refer in this volume, when we describe the formation of the earthly-human Sun out of the spiritualized human being.
The knowledge drama presented in volumes 2 and 3 described the transformation of the threefold human constitution and the construction of the threefold bridge of spiritual memory and continuity of consciousness. This is done in ‘seeing the Grail’, that is, in the light of the meeting with the etheric Christ, the archetype of man. The creative part, described in this volume, shows how man becomes a builder of the future temple of humanity, the earthly-human Sun. The creative part applies the forces obtained in the knowledge drama in the spiritualization of the human microcosm, created in the past out of the forces of the old, dying macrocosm, to form the seed of the new macrocosm, the Sun becoming, Christed earth, built in the future image of Christed man.
Therefore, the creative part of the knowledge drama must be understood as a seed of a work in progress, which will continue until the end of the evolution of the earth and indeed until the end of the development of our solar system on Vulcan. It is an essential part of the practical creative spiritual activity, required in the present age of Michael. An important secret of the formation of the earthly-human Sun is that the planetary heart organ that connects the new Earth and Heaven, is formed through the new forces of karma, created in the healed, Christ permeated, human meeting. This is an essential part of the formation of the new Michaelic community. That this is possible today is due to the fact that since the end of last century, the etheric Christ has assumed his role as the new lord of karma. And the new human meeting and community, the formative heart organ of the earthly-human Sun, are formed through the inspiration of his new role.
In the first chapter we describe some aspects of the creation of the new Earth and Heaven of the earthly-human Sun. Here the knowledge drama becomes the creative drama of the Second Coming. The creative spiritual forces developed and invested in the creation of the threefold bridge of spiritual memory and continuity of consciousness, are turned outward, to the renewal and resurrection of mother earth and social life. The will forces, active in the spiritualized metabolic-limb and reproductive systems, become the formative forces of the new Earth, the spiritualized forces of the nerves-sense system, form the new Heaven around the new Earth; and the spiritualized forces of breathing and blood circulation, of the rhythmic system, form the new spiritual heart and lungs of the earthly-human Sun, which connects the new Earth and Heaven and makes it into one breathing and pulsating human-cosmic whole. And as we investigate the formation of the planetary heart center, we discover that it leads us to the mysteries of the new human meeting and creation of the new Michaelic community. The planetary heart is formed from the forces of true human love, mutual understanding, and good will, woven between human hearts and souls.
In the second chapter, the appearance of Christ between ‘I’ and ‘Thou’, we show how the modern Christ experience is also an archetype of the new human meeting. It takes place all the time in the midst of all our meetings, but we stubbornly ignore it. We prefer to continue to deepen our ominous social sleep, suppressing the voice of conscience, and ignoring the meaning of the karma we have with others. Through the creative use of the knowledge drama, the new role of the etheric Christ, as lord of karma, comes for the first time into full supersensible consciousness. By following his ordeals in carrying and harmonizing human karma, we learn how to do the same with our friends and comrades. We learn the new Michaelic art of community building that is starting in the 21st century, through the formation of the heart center of our human meetings, and the meetings become the spiritual source of the formative forces of the earthly-human Sun. Free adjustment and healing of karma becomes a creative social and spiritual power, by means of which the new Heaven and Earth of the earthly-human Sun are woven together. The healing moral breath and pulsation with each other, which creates a wholly new social life, is also a world-creative activity. In the new, resurrected human meeting one perceives the appearance, words, and deeds of the etheric Christ with utmost imaginative clarity of perception, and one becomes his Michaelic partner, to resurrect and redeem humanity and planet earth in the present age of Michael.
In the third chapter, some indications are given concerning the nature of the fully formed seed of the earthly-human Sun. Its spiritual body is substantiated through the forces acquired in the second part of the knowledge drama, from which the physical body is spiritualized. In this sense, the resurrection body of man, the Phantom, becomes the seed of the resurrection body of the earth. This takes place in the temple of the earthly-human Sun, also described in the previous volume. The full Imagination of the earthly-human Sun lights up, when its embodiment is complete, and it becomes an operative earth star. As such, it begins to travel as she dances in her new trajectory in the cosmos, opening the future path that leads to her cosmic destination.
